Hi, everyone!
Alice, there are annual school events here and there, and yesterday my kids also had a school festival at school gymnasium. Since my kids’ school has the highest number of pupils in Nagoya and no capacity for all families, we always have to go to the event on a weekday. Anyway, all children were very excited and satisfied.
This morning, my younger daughter could enjoy a fantastic meeting. Last year she was lucky that she has had a good class teacher, who was a young man, came from Kyushu.
He was so kind, sincere, and warm-hearted person that he was popular with the students. I think he had a deep desire to be of service to his students. He was playing guitar, painting cartoon, and showing a backward somersault everyday. But sadly, he decided to go Osaka at the end of the last school year, and children had to cry loudly.
Even after a year, children never forget him. Few days ago, we got the news that he will come to Nagoya and he wants to meet his class students. When my daughter heard it, she was really overjoyed and said she was definitely coming to meet him. And then this morning, they gathered at a neighborhood park, and could meet him again finally. In spite of too sudden invitation, almost all children could come there. He showed a changeless love for children, and played tag, dodge ball, and took photographs with children. It will always remain in her memory.
So, good night, see you!

Hello, Cherry and friends.
Thank you for encouraging me. I'll do my best for the interview test.
Cherry, your daughter is a lucky girl to have met the nice teacher in her childhood. It's once in a life time encounter to have such a wonderful teacher these days when almost all teachers became like a salaried man.
In my high school days I also met a nice and reliable English teacher, which was one of the reasons why I liked English.
As I went to a private school from junior to senior high, he was in charge of our grade and taught us for 6 years. After the retirement from a public school, he came to our private school, so at that time he was more than 60, but he was sincere and deligent. He appeared in a best seller book of 'Shonen H' by Seno Kappa as the most reliable English teacher because after the War people thought English as the enemy's language, but this Matsumoto sensei kept saying," English is the most important language,so you have to study hard."
Many teachers changed their ways to teach subjects, but only he didn't change his way, so Kappa trusted him very much.
Matsumoto sensei was our class teacher when I graduated and he attended every class reunion, but he passed away about 5 years ago at the age of 95. I miss him.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Hi.
I agree with Magnolia. Cherry, your daughter is lucky. So is Magnolia. Not many people encounter good teachers in their childhood. On the other hand, it is very hard for any teachers to be a good teacher. Nice teachers and good teachers are different. Some strict teachers are good. Some nice teachers are incompetent as educators unfortunately.
