Today's snowfall

Hi, everyone!

How are you doing??
I appreciate your sweet concern with me. I had not caught cold, but seriously developed hey fever for the first time in these three years. In addition to that, I concentrated all my energies on my essay until recently, and I couldn’t sit in front of my PC to write any more, but just enjoyed your messages. I am now not so bad, and have foresight on my essay to some extent. Anyway, I am happy to come back again.

The other day, I watched a DVD titled Syriana that depicted some severe condition of the Middle East in connection with the oil industry. When I finished this movie, I was just afraid of easiness of our country. No natural resources, few food-self-sufficiencies. Is it OK…? I feel anxiety about our future.

It was an extraordinary event… today’s snowfall! My kids and I made a big snowman on an empty space behind our apartment. I could return to the innocence of childhood.

So, good night, see you tomorrow.

Hello, Cherry and friends

Welcome home back, Cherry! You are a core person leading this blog. Without your comment, I felt uneasy a little bit. Now, it has become all right. But still I have had anxiety inside me, my ESSAY! Please don’t ask me about an essay. Leave me alone!
Well, I am a member of Toast Master’s Club, which has a regular meeting a month. Yesterday was the day of February meeting. Each member must give a speech for around seven minutes. My topic is “tears”. I am going to write down a few sentences of my speech.
“We very often hear that a tear is the strongest weapon for women. It seems to be right. Did you see H. Clinton’s tears on TV, didn’t you? That sophisticated brilliant former First Lady was at a loss for words with tears in her eyes I public, betraying her positive confidence. Nobody expected such ascene. But people were touched with her tears rather than her speeches, feeling something humane and feminine aspect of hers, which is against her image of a strong woman. Yes, her tears brought up a lucky change to her primary election game very effectively. She is going ahead narrowly of Obama.”
Next, I continued this story mentioning about men’s tears. Thank you for reading.
Bye, see you again,friends.

Hello, Cherry and my dear friends.

I'm very glad to read Cherry's comment today. Cherry, you have been a good job both enjoying your family life with your children, enjoying various DVDs and writing an essay. I always admired you!!

When I got stuck with my essay writing and could not advance my idea any more, I gave up composing and decided to read out a beautifully written essay of "Yosano Akiko and the Taisho" recommended by plum. It seemed to help me a lot psycologically. the more I read, the more I found it a really good material to read aloud. It's good to practice this in the middle of my deadlock. Adding to that, its concise style seems to give me some inspiration to producing my draft.

I realize a cause that makes my essay writing difficult and slow might be that I had less competent of my english writing skills. That’s why this blog is here to train in the daily basis.

This is what I realized during my essay writing.
At last I understand why plum encourages us to keep
this BLOG every day.

Cherry, I missed your BLOG for these few days. I'm happy to read it today.

Good-by, my friends!

Hi, everyone!!!
It was a quite warm day, according to a TV weather report, but I did not feel the warmth. It was just another cold day to me, perhaps due to the snow still remaining here and there around my house.

Just this morning we found the TV antenna knocked down onto the roof, yes, of course, by the snow, and some broken pieces scattered in our garden. What a horrid sight!!! It is still hanging on the roof, and I just assume perhaps there are some cracks or dents in the roof.

My husband called our electrical appliance store and asked them to send a repair person, and we were told he would not be able to come over until the mid-week. What a shock!!!

I don’t want to see the wrecked antenna, but I had to check several times whether it was still there, because if it falls down, perhaps, on somebody walking around my house, he/she will be terribly injured and we will have to take responsibility.

So I hate snow. Snow is so hatable to me. I was born and raised in Kyushu, which is relatively warm even in mid-winter, and I am not so familiar with snow.

I will have to check the antenna all day tomorrow. What a task!!!

I would like to have an early night, ‘cause too much concern and worry about the antenna tired me out. Good night, my lovely friends. I hope all of you are well and fine.
