The plum blossoms

Hi, ladies!!

There’s a big difference between today’s temperature and yesterday’s. Strong wind has made me shiver.

Recently the days have got longer day by day. Unusual warmth has the plum blossoms come out, which gave a sweet scent.

I have to go to meet my daughter.
See you soon, bye!

Hi, ladies!!!
How are you feeling today? I hope you’re feeling great.
This morning the sun came back at last, but it showered in the early afternoon, and following that the sun disappeared. Alas…

Rose, thank you for telling us about the movie Miss Potter. I understand how wonderfully you were impressed by the movie. I haven’t seen it but the detailed account of the movie story by you as well as Cherry made me really want to watch it. Thanks again for your delightful film review.

My daughter and Yujin normally attend four different infants play group meetings in the morning on weekdays; at the local elementary school on Mondays, at the Anglican Church in this parish on Tuesdays, at Centennial Parklands on Wednesdays (this group is only for Japanese parents and children), and at the local children’s library on Thursdays (some children’s books are read out for very young children).

Tomorrow is Tuesday and therefore they will go to the church meeting for infants and I will accompany them, since my daughter wants Kenjin to go there also (I am a sole nanny for Kenjin).

Do you remember that I remarked that I watched the movie Amazing Grace on DVD on Saturday? In the movie a woman of a long plain face with big curly hair is presented to Wilberforce, the protagonist. She is Hannah More. Her name is sometimes mentioned in the text for the last tutorial and I had some interest in her but I did not know that she was a serious anti-slavery activist. The movie depicts her as a member of the group of anti-slave-trade activists who persuades Wilberforce to take on the cause of abolition, and he soon becomes one of the leading English abolitionists. He heads the parliamentary campaign against the British slave trade until the eventual passage of the Slave Trade Act 1807. (That is the ending of the movie.)

In later years, Wilberforce supported the campaign for the complete abolition of slavery, and continued his involvement after 1826, when he resigned from Parliament because of his failing health. That campaign led to the Slavery Abolition Act 1833, which abolished slavery in most of the British Empire; Wilberforce died just three days after hearing that the passage of the Act through Parliament was assured. Yoji has just got home and we are going to have dinner together. Bye for now, my precious friends. I am arriving in Nagoya on the night of 21st. Goodnight to you all…

Hi, everybody!

Today was a little bit windy, but very fine clear day, isn’t it?
I took the second pain-block injection, today. It seems to work well for me.
Well, we had a group meeting for checking our essays yesterday. Actually, yesterday’s target was mainly Rose’s essay. I must confess that mine hasn’t taken shape, but I felt something interesting because the two great female doctors, Masako Ogawa and Mieko Kamiya had a lot of coincidences. Both of them respected Dr. Mitsuda and worked for lepers with dedication, however, the two heroines had never met throughout their lives, as if they had been two characters on a revolving stage, even though they had so many common traits. Life is filled with a lot of mystery.
Now, I’ll stop today. Good night, my precious friends.

Dear Cherry and friends,

Hello! I have just come back from a seminar trip. We met in Isawa Hot Springs.
Young people treated us visitors very politely and respectfully. Like the last time, about 30 people gave a 20-40 minute presentation each. We really were excited and delighted.

Plum, thank you for showing us how to understand a usage of the definite article: the form “the + plural.” It is very useful and helpful. I will carefully choose either form by thinking both importance and logic they convey.

Good night.

Hello, Cherry and my friends.

It’s Wednesday. It’s another balmy and pleasant winter day, albeit a bit colder today.

How is it going about your essay writing, my friends?

We met on Monday at Cosmos’ place to discuss our paper. It was a pity that Magnolia was not able to join us, but it’s nice to talk with her about her article over the phone this morning.

It’s a good practice to look through others's articles and make a comment on them. We are likely to learn some knacks through doing so when writing of our own.

Three points we should always check would be redundancy, necessary information and analytical.

We should keep them in mind!

Plum, you’re going back to Nagoya on the night of 21st, aren’t you? I hope you'll have a good time with your daughter’s family.
during another three days in Sydney. My daughter will stay with us from next Sunday, 22nd with her little Manato because her expecting day is coming on March 11.

I’ll do the utmost of my ability to complete my task before they come.

I’m going back to my work, my precious friends.
