Hi, ladies!!
What a warm climate today and I can see petals of cherry blossoms falling in the wind along the street. Those short-lived flowers fascinate us every spring, don’t they?
At last the new term has begun, and this morning I attended the entrance ceremony of the junior high with my older daughter. When we got to school, there were a lot of new students gathering at the entrance, and so we also stood in line to take photos at the signboard. My daughter wearing new uniform seemed to feel nervous in the presence of unfamiliar classmates.
I can feel refreshed at the beginning of the new fiscal year and restart to learn English intensively tomorrow.
So, see you next. Bye for now.

Hi Cherry and friends,
Cherry, congratulations on your daughter’s entering the junior high school today. I can imagine how nervous she was on the very first day, because I remember the day I entered the junior high wearing the new uniform, but she should be all right. Maybe she is now very excited to make new friends and have a new school life.
It has been balmy, warm and beautiful days recently and it's just perfect for the cherry blossoms. They are in full bloom around here and it is breathtaking. Almost everywhere people go out for walking under the cherry trees and have parties enjoying viewing cherry blossoms. It is really something. All kinds of flowers are beautiful and enjoyable but cherry blossoms are special for Japanese people, maybe. This year, the nice weather stays for over a week luckily, so we can enjoy cherry blossoms longer than usual hopefully.
Good night friends.
Reiko
Hello, Cherry and my friends.
Cherry, congratulate on your daughter’s entrance into a junior high school.
By the way, we walked along the Ogi river with my daughter and her two little kids to enjoy viewing cherry blossoms yesterday while entrance ceremonies in elementary schools were held. It was so warm and balmy day that we had a good time to enjoy cherry blossoms in full bloom.
furthermore, there were few people strolling along the river because it was Monday. On Sunday there were a crowd of people viewing cherry blossoms.
On Wednesday will be our 35th wedding anniversary. I've been busy taking caring of my daughter and her two kids but we’re planning to eat out as a couple. I hope to have a quiet time with my DH after a long interval.
Good-night, my precious friends.
Hello, ladies!
Congratulations, Cherry. It is a great pressure for parents to watch over children’s growth. I also hope that you spent a happy day of your wedding anniversary today, Sunflower.
Yesterday, I went to the cinema and watched “The Other Boleyn Girl”. It is very interesting movie, as Alice mentioned before. Henry Ⅷ is a notorious King, who changed the British history drastically in order to marry Ann Boleyn. Daughters were very precious and useful cards for aristocrats to get close to a king and acquire wealth and prosperity of a clan. This movie depicts that prosperity and decline brought capricious love of the King to Ann affected the Boleyn family and English history. Ann was unfortunately beheaded in the cruelest way, but her strong self assertive character was passed over to her daughter, ElizabethⅠ. This movie will be on until April 10th in Mitsukoshi Theater in Hoshigaoka. If you have a time, please see it.
Now, I am wrapping it up today. Bye, my precious friends. See you soon.
Hi, ladies!!!
It’s Wednesday, April 8, 2009 today. It’s been a beautiful day, hasn’t it? It was sunny and warm during the day and a perfect day for cherry blossom viewing.
I do not have any special sentimentalism toward Japanese cherry blossoms, probably because my parents never took me anywhere to take a look at cherry blossoms, unlike some of my elementary school friends’ parents did.
But I do have a very special memory of the cherry blossoms in Christchurch, New Zealand. More than ten years ago I was in Christchurch and the cherry blossoms in Hagely Park located in the city center were in full bloom for more than one month due to the cool weather in early spring in October.
One day I walked and walked in the park, though it was rather chilly, viewing the cherry blossoms and other spring flowers, and took some light refreshments when I got tired of strolling, perhaps a set of Devonshire cake and tea, at a tiny café in the botanical garden next to the park, where there were few customers besides some other middle-aged women. The place was very English and the café staff was very friendly and kind. I quite enjoyed an old English style holiday. (I always wanted to take my son out with me when I went for a walk but he seldom came with me. So I was normally alone.)
Perhaps, I told you this episode of mine before, but the cherry blossoms in Christchurch are always in my mind, and so without knowing, I tend to talk about this episode over and over again.
Have a wonderful Wednesday evening, my lovely friends.
Hi, ladies. Here is your quiz. Enjoy reading the news and trying the quiz.

Dear Cherry and friends,
Cherry blossoms this year are more beautiful than those of last year because of the law temperature before blooming. Cherry, did you take a lot of photoes? My daughter who is 14 now does not like to be taken. Neither my son. So it is a good chance.
Concerning to cherry blossoms, I once watched TV news on a report of an Indonesian man working for the botanical garden. At first he did not find any beauty in cherry blossoms in a single tree in Indonesia, but after observing them in Japan he found that cherry blossoms coming out at one time and gathered are extremely beautiful. Beauty in the mass, or uniformity is what many Japanese valued high, isn't it? I learn that one view can tell more than a single knowledge.
What a coincidence! I rent a DVD, Elizabeth last weekend. In Starcat I watched Boleyn ke no shimai and wanted to watch Elizabeth. Is the movie Cosmos watched is a new one?
Boleyn ke no shimai contains terrible affairs・・・ Mary Boleyn who was Ann's elder sister was loved by Henry, but while she was pregnant, Ann seduced him and her family also intended to. Is it based on the fact?
Good night, my precious friends.
P.S. It is impossible to change the way of feeling of others, even if he is my DH, so I should be more attentive. I should learn and obseve more about the feeling.
