The new women

Hi, ladies!

Sunflower, Cosmos, thank you for good suggestions about the new women.

From the viewpoint of Shoen, I, Kiyoko, am very proud of being one of the new women: Financial independence, defending women who chose not to marry, and questioning men’s chastity.

As for my choice of a legal wife, what I am interested in is true love, not the position as a wife. In our society, even though quite a lot husbands shamelessly have their mistresses, their wives must endure to the end. I believe firmly that the new woman can do what she wants. We can breathe, eat, love and marry for oneself, not for the society and men. If a husband betrays his wife, she should claim a right as a wife.

Of course, one can choose the life outside marriage, as Shoen did. I was once glad to hear that our leader Raicho publicly declared a communal life with her partner. We can put our feelings before the public, and speak the truth. It’s the new women's way.

So, see you next. Have a good day!

Dear Cherry and ladies,
I survived a 6-hour operation on June 24. I stayed in bed for two days with tubes of ID, blood transfusion, anti biotec, etc.I could have lived on the wheel chair since 27th.A smarting pain annoys me in the night. But the doctor says that I am making a good progress after the operation. I think I have gone through the hardest stage. July 2, Gloriosa wrote.

Take care.

Thank you for sending her message, Plum.
And, welcome back.

Dear Cherry and friends,

While reading your entries and comments, I always felt that I had to write something, too. But I could not.

I don't even have time to make excuse. I am preparing for tomorrow's rehearsal right now.
Wish me luck.
See you tomorrow.

Hello, Cherry and my precious friends.

It was really a good project for us to have Talk Show this year.
The good point is that I could know much more about the life of other guests through appropriate questions two mediators asked of us to take out new facts from each speaker.

I deeply appreciate great efforts of Alice and Cosmos.

During the Talk Show Alice pointed out contradiction about the time Shoen quit Shonen’s jyuku.

I said she left Shonen after she gave birth to a son fathered by him when she was 27.

It was my misunderstanding.

According to a reliable source, Shoen learned painting at Shonen’s jyuku for six years. It was 18 when she left him after getting permission from him.

There is no reliable reason why she left the first teacher but she was likely to become pregnant when she was 18. It forced her to leave him.

The novel'Jyo no mai' told a detaild story about her first pregnancy.

So it was when Shoen belonged to the third teacher that she had a love child.

Alice, thank you for your indication.

Dear Cherry and ladies,

How have you been? After the Aichi Seminar, I think I should be more careful about the accent and pronounciation of the words like war, vicious, which I remember uncorrectly. I should have checked
the words which I used repeatedly in a speech.

Anyway I enjoyed being a speaker and an audience. Utako Hayashi was such an independent and capable woman that I wish I were like her. Pretending to be like her during the talk show was a nice experience. She had had continuous hardships and each time she bravely tried to conqure.

Hostesses are to be given applause.
It must be hard to grasp the lives of womens with so colorful lives.

I also admire ladies getting right into their part, so well prepared, which was really entertaining.

It is getting late, so have a nice dream.
