Hi, everyone!
Alice, I’d like to ask you what kind of statistics you are studying now, and why you began to learn them. I’m so poor at the science that I can’t recognize its charm, and envy you.
Today I went to the sports club and enjoyed a course of body combat, which is mixed some martial arts, like as boxing, kung fu, or tae kwon do. It takes only 30 minutes, but we must have really hard movements at the class. There are about 30 women, and many of those are playing that action smoothly. While giving a punch and kick, I can feel a power in the inner parts of my body and mind. I’ll try it at least for a month.
So, I’m little tired, good night, see you!

Hi, everyone.
Alice, whenever I read your comment, as if I felt you were abroad, even your school's campus,
I imagine a foreign University's campus. I don't know why. Perhaps you are cosmopolitan. In a year, how long do you stay in Japan on average?
By the way, you often go to Canada, do you know David Suzuki?
He is a famous Japanese Candadian.
I hate people who committed a mistake never regret and admit what they have done. Moreover, they add to their shame. Turning back requiers more brave. However, intrinsically, it is easy. It is because you easily imagine the result.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Good evening.
I forgot to answer your yesterday's question. I'm going to answer it and two more questions from Cherry and Azalea. Luckily I feel I can expand the answers into some stories. Let me answer one by one.
First, where is the place I would love to visit the most? Currently, it is Argentina. Just yesterday, I got an e-mail from Phyllis, an America friend. She reached Buenos Aires several days ago. She was overwhelmed by the scale of the city. I was tempted to check air fares to go there. But I can't decide whether I can travel by this spring considering my current situation.
My current situation. Yes. I'm sitting in front of the PC screen. In other words, I'm tied down to the desk. What I'm doing here is partly the answer to Cherry's second question. What kind of statistics am I studying now? My teacher would answer we're studying mathematical statistics. So we sometimes need to prove theories. However, what I'm doing for my thesis is statistics for social sciences. I analyze survey responses using some statistical methods. In my study, I use survey data given by a certain institution and analyze Japanese people's job history. Basically, I avoid doing math. Instead of using complicated formulae which require calculus, I prefer graphical representations such as charts and plots. So I often use PCs and make them calculate. For example, I'm making 1000 40x12 matrices on my PC right now. I'm sure you don't want to listen to the reason why. It seems to take long hours to finish calculation. I'll keep the PC awake and go to bed before it finishes.
Lastly, I'll answer to Azalea's question. Do I know David Suzuki? He is an environmentalist or activist, isn't he? Yes, I do by his name. I don't know his face, though. How do I get to know his name? To answer this question, I have to talk about Lilian, one of Sunflower's friends. It's not a long story, but I'll write about Lilian next time.
Good night. Have a good dream.
