Sudden resignation, again

Hi, everyone!

Magnolia, I also watched ‘Always’ before on DVD. But I didn’t know the boy junnosuke was like Yoshiyuki Junnosuke. He was so natural child actor that I, too, moved to tears with the movie.

Last night, we were surprised by news that Minsyuto leader Ozawa announced sudden resignation. I don’t know his true motives, but can’t avoid having suspicious and disappointment with him. I think he had to fight against Jiminto at least until the next election, because he could win the last election as a result of public expectation. Japanese politics is always beyond our imagination, isn’t it? It’s really reasonable that public might lose hope in politics.

So, good night, see you!

Dear Cherry and friends
Mr. Ozawa, the leader of the Democratic Party, announced his decision of resignation, which surprised not only Japanese politicians but also the public. I agreed with Cherry’s comment. I was disappointed at his behavior, too. I found he is an old-fashioned Japanese politician after all. His best performance is a kind of “belly-talk”, which has had a charismatic attraction. According to a dictionary, “belly-talk” means communicating by one’s attitude and the force of one’s personality rather than in the words. Japanese politicians are really poor at understanding through dialog communication. They are good at only reading a situation or a mood. Now, the hope of reversing the power of die-hard LDP has become a mere illusion. What a shame!
By the way, I am always surprised that you go out so often and watch so many movies.
The older I am, the less I can do in a day. If I have something to do more than you, it is a sleeping hours. Isn’t it nothing to be proud of, is it?
Alice, the villagers’ Kabuki is an inherited annual attraction for the autumn festival in the rural region of Gero. According to my friend living in Gifu, there are many traditional folk entertainments such as Joruri and Musumekabuki etc. in Gifu prefecture.
Though political circles have been in chaos, we have a nice weather. Let’s enjoy fantastic autumn color. See you soon. Bye, friends!

Dear Cherry and friends,

How can we trust politicians? Both the Liberal Democratic Party and Democratic Party in Japan are the same kind. Did they have the same political manifest? If they can agree on important political issues, what's the point of being different parties. We are cheated.

Cosmos, thank you for answering my question. I'm interested in how local communities keep tying human relationships especially in places where the population decreases. Traditional events might help them to strengthen their social ties.

By the way, did you see the face of Tutankhamun?
It's a bit disappointing because I really imagined a Pharaoh in the comic “Ohke no monsho,” before I looked at it.
You can see his face here.
Tutankhamun

Have a good dream.
Maybe I see him tonight.

Dear Cherry and friends,
Yes, politics is in chaos in Japan.
I'm interested in Mr. Ozawa's comment or criticism on the Democratic Party itself. He doubted if it has enough ability. Actually I don't have any knowledge about its manifest, which I should know. Mr. Fukuda said in the interview about "A un no kokyu", which is very Japanese way of communicating. How can I translate into English? They watched to see if the oppornent was ready(?).

I can imagine how Kyoto, Kanazawa,Meiso-no-mori...etc in fall is beautiful through reading this blog.

Alice, thank your for your message on the Snail's Sorrow. Picture books heal us, don't they? It is not only for the children.

Do you know Kurashi-no-techo?
Before sleeping, my mother read the story with beautiful silhouette in it. I was so sleepy that I don't remember the story, though. It was such a happy time.

I was relieved to hear Aoyama-sensei will leave the hospital.

Good night
