Eyestrain

HI, everyone!

These days I found that I have to read a lot of books and documents, but when I continue looking at some written texts, I often suffer from eyestrain. We may use our eyes too often because of PC. Come to think of it, there is almost no time to gaze into the distance in my daily life. I must do so consciously in order to keep my eyes healthy.

It must be cold tonight, and please take care. Good night.

Dear Cherry,

Just a few corrections:

These days I found that I have to read a lot of books and documents, but when I continue looking at some written texts, I often suffer from eyestrain. We may use our eyes too often because of PC. Come to think of it, there is almost no time to gaze into the distance in my daily life. I must do so consciously in order to keep my eyes healthy.

I do understand what you want to say in the above message, but the whole message sounds a bit strange and illogical.

Maybe what you want to express is not illogical in Japanese, but in English it sounds illogical and improper, unfortunately.

I will try to make some corrections, but probably my corrections would not be so successful.

These days I have to read a number of books and documents, since I am doing research on how women came to be involved in Japanese politics.

I also try to read a lot of web articles. When I keep reading them, I sometimes feel my eyes strained. Even when I read small letters in the books, I feel the same way.

Nowadays we tend to strain our eyes unconsciously, because we generally try to get information from the Internet.

It is advised by health experts that we should put our eyes away from the computer from time to time and look into something in the distance so as not to get our eyes tired.

I must do so consciously in order to keep my eyes healthy.
