Hi, everyone!
Plum, how terrible news… I didn’t know power of snow was so strong. I hope the antenna should hold for another couple of days.
Do you watch a saga drama Atsuhime? At first I didn’t have any interest, but when my HD explained about it as usual, her story attracted me. She led a checkered life in bakumatsu and the Maiji era as a wife of the Tokugawa shogun. I also heard that then Satsuma-han had a great educational system to develop talents of young people. I’d like to read the original work of this drama.
So, see you tomorrow. Good night.

Hi, everyone
Good morning.
I was surprised with the comment, Plum. In Nagoya, how much snow did you have? I'm sorry for your contingent disaster. I hope the repair person will come as soon as possible. I am worrying about the dent of the roof. Is it terrible damage?
Cherry, I like Atsuhime, too. It is interesting. However, the Edo era was horrible for me who live in the modern society. I think the person who are loved by parents very much always have self respect and confidence to self and others.
In a sense, it is comfortable to watch it.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Hello. How are you?
If I live near your house, I could bring you a ladder, Plum. We sometimes have the same kind of problems. Yes, we face that sort of problems once in a while. In our case, the causes of problems are not antennas, but signboards. The most terrible trouble was caused by a typhoon. It was a signboard hanging from a poll near a three story building. The building was a flower shop. We made the signboard which showed a map to a convenience store just across from the flower shop. Heavy wind blew the signboard and made it crash into the wall of the flower shop. I was afraid that it might have killed somebody. Isn't it scary?
Today is my niece's birthday. She became 10. We went to a French restaurant. Two days ago, we planed to have a party at the restaurant and reserved a table. We also asked the chef to bake a birthday cake with a “Happy Birthday” message. They said that the cake would have a diameter of 18 cm. We didn't know the height. I thought it might be a good desert after dinner. But it was too huge to eat them up. So we had to bring home half of it.
I believe birthdays are important especially for children. I remember one of my students told me that her birthday was completely ignored when she was 15. She was the youngest child and parents were not able to imagine how important her birthday was. Two other kids were boys. I felt sorry for her. And I also think back my high school days. Our most strict math teacher would never forget to say happy birthday to every student. Maybe if I want to know what kids want, I needs to have a special imagination to feel it. But luckily, because of this admirable teacher, I can try to remember each kid is given a birthday as a precious gift. I think it coincides with the fact that the birth of a kid is a precious memory for parents.
Good night.
Hi, everyone!!!
It was so windy this afternoon, wasn’t it?
Probably your areas would have been OK, but my area was terrible.
You know the trees in the shrine? Those in the back of the shrine? Yes, right. The trees…, on the top of the hill, though it is a tiny one. When we have a northwesterly wind, around this time of the year, especially, it hits the trees and the trees shake horizontally, yes, so widely, you know. And they make a horrid sound. When we have a not-so-gusty wind, it makes the trees simmer, which is OK to me.
I sometimes jokingly say that I live on Wuthering Heights. A strong wind such as the one we had today especially reminds me of the novel. Oh, terrible, isn’t it?
At last the repairman came up at around noon and removed the broken antenna, oh, what a relief, took it away, and so I paid 8000 yen for his job.
I hope everyone is well and happy, because you are my precious friends. Talk to you again tomorrow. Goodnight…
Hi, everyone.
Today, it is terrible windy in Toyota. Sometimes I felt wind's stregth even in my house. I felt relief at the repairman coming news, Plum.
Yesterday, 3 music CD arrived from Amazon. Yes, I ordered them. Last Thursday, I went to the Aichi Geijyutu Center to listen to Brahms's Symphony No. 1. However, I was not satisfied with it. Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra is very good. It is because I like the Baroque music, especially, Antonio Vivaldi the best. It is strange to me, but his melody stimulates my brain differnt from other composers. I don't know why.
It stimulated me, effectively, maybe. I am suffering from neuralgia. A half of joke!!
I will go to bed early.
