Hi, everyone!
Congratulations, Magnolia!
You have done successfully as we expected…! We can feel happy with such good news.
If I am a tourist, I want to be guided with a person like you.
Some member could get the master’s degree and so congratulations, too!
How high-leveled we are…I, too, will do my best.
How are you being!?
I have a little bit stuffy nose and difficulties on precise writing essay.
It is really hard for me to form an essay in English. But I am now keen on subjects in Meiji and Taisho era, about which I didn’t know ever.
So, see you tomorrow. Bye!

Dear Cherry and friends,
Hello.
Congratulations, Magnolia! You did it. I'm glad your efforts were rewarded.
After you guide a tour as a professional tour guide, please let us know your experience.
Yesterday, I finally submitted my master's thesis. Next weekend, we're gonna have presentations in front of other teachers who evaluate our theses. Although I have to make a power point file and an abstract paper for the presentation, I feel relaxed now. All I have to do now is to shrink the thesis. I believe.
Today, I got a book titled “The History of Women in the World.” As Plum told us, it includes a story about Beatrice Webb. I'll start from her part. “The encyclopedia of British and American History” will be delivered soon. Both are from used bookstores.
Cherry, are you OK now? My niece caught cold last weekend and she was fine yesterday but today she is back in the bed. Now is the season of catching cold. Please avoid large numbers of the general public, kids, in particular. They are spreading germs, aren't they?
Please take care.
Hi, friends,
How are you doing? Though it is still cold, days become longer with a touch of spring. Congratulations, Magnolia ! You are so great. Your effort talks. What is the most tough thing in a tour guide test?
Alice, I wish your presentation goes well. Feeling relaxed is the most important, I think.
I somehow fill my first 5 pages essay. Shoud I send through PC?
Hello, Cherry and friends
It is very surprising to see that this blog are full of good news, exciting information of English Victorian women and unbelievable tyrannical death-sentence in Afghanistan during my absence. Congratulations, Magnolia! Please make the best use of your faculty. I am sure you are very suited to tour guide, especially to spa areas.
I am sorry I have a touch of cold, too. So I’ going to bed now. Good night, everybody.
Hi, everyone!!!
Great Super Tuesday, isn’t it?
Never seen such a heated Super Tuesday before!!!
Of course I would vote for Hillary, if I were an American.
But I was extremely impressed with Obama’s speeches. Excellent! Fabulous! Fantastic!
In fact, both of them are remarkable and brilliant public speech performers, don’ t you think so, everyone? Their talks, though too political and American culture-centered to me, sound incredibly and enchantingly pleasant to my ears. There are certain rhythms and pauses, which grasp and charm, maybe, intoxicate, the heart and mind of the masses. They are still competing neck and neck. Isn’t it delightful?
Today Y. H. came to my Solace House to discuss her essay. Actually she has written 12 pages, and all she has to do is to reduce the amount of the writing, which is often fairly hard to do. But it seems OK. She can do it, I believe. She will come back to my Solace House next Thursday with her whole essay including an introduction and a conclusion, and so, perhaps, next week she will complete it and submit it to Bev snesei.
Talk to you again tomorrow, my lovely friends. Bye for now…
Hello, friends.
Thank you for your heartful congratulations.
I was very lucky because I just studied for a short time last summer for geography and history, using the textbook of senior high school.
I also studied 'common sense'(Ippan joshiki) with a book of interviews for employees.
Then I found the questions of the past test on the Internet and I solved the questions of last five years. So I studied for totally two months.
The geography test was very difficult this year and I lost confidence to pass it, but fortunately I barely passed it.
If you have the 1st grade of Eiken,
English test is exempted, so why don't you try it,alice?
Thank you for encouraging me to try another challenge, Magnolia.
I will think about it, but I'm not good at ippan joshiki.
If you lend me good textbooks...
What great people you are!
A bunch of hardworkers.
Hi, everyone
How are you? Cherry, are you OK?
I suppose you have caught a cold or severe cold. Or you now are writing an essay. Please take care of yourself.
Today, A marvelous thing happened to me. I went to the Suhara Park located in Kariya City, near Aichi Education University. I saw a wild king fisher for the first time in my life in Japan. I saw other king fisher in Saipan last year. Compared to it, Japanese king fisher is smaller. However, its blue is irresistible. It is like a starling in size. I am very happy today. By the way, I went there with my friend and her dog. I brought a piece of bread to feed wild ducks. Ducks with bravery could eat the food I fed. The dog named Love wondered why her colleague did not feed her, but strange creatures for her.
Hello, friends.
Yesterday I went to the spa in Toba with my friends and relaxed.
All of us are Akafuku lovers and went to see the shop at Okageyokocho in Ise today. As newspaper said that they were sold out yesterday, we didn't think we could buy one,but actually we could. I wonder what will happen to them if they remain this time. There was no problem because they were also sold out around 5 p.m. And a taxi driver complained that he couldn't buy one.
I heard that someone bought 100 Akafuku the other day and sold them with higer price on the Internet. Can it be possible?
On our way home we met a cute American girl who lived in Shima and went on a trip alone and she looked lonely, so we began chatting and made friends, exchanging e-mail address and promised to meet in Nagoya in spring. She is very interested in Japanese garden, so I want to show her Yokiso sometime.
Dear Cherry and friends
I also suppose Cherry has had a bad cold or has concentrated on essay. Actually I have a nasal congestion because of a cold. But luckily I am not so sick that I have to stay in bed. Please take care of yourself, everybody in this cold season.
By the way, I read the book about Victorian women. The book says that industrialization in the era forced men work outside like factories and women stayed at home. That was the starting of the separation from jobs from homes and starting of ordinary housewives who had to keep homes comfortable as an oasis for men working outside.
By the way, what image of oasis is for you? You might think an oasis is an ideal comfortable place filled with green and pure water to live in and has a healing power.
But reality is different. Thanks to water and plants in Oases, men and all creatures can survive, especially can take breather after long trip through desert. But please don’t expect much on oases, where a variety of living things including bacillus are breeding. That means that oases are birthplaces of infectious illness and bad smell, far from pure dreamlike place. A deserts is strangely pure without dirty living germs. Let’s not have a wrong illusion, friends. See you again, bye!
Dear Cherry and friends,
Hello, Cherry. I hope you are back to this blog. I hope you are not sick.
Cosmos, I didn't know anything about oasis. What a terrible place! Since we understand both aspects in the oasis and the desert, we might enjoy something good and evil, dark and bright.
Anyway I'll be more careful not to be deluded with fixed idea. Thank you. Magnolia, it was so nice for you to talk to a foreign girl in Ise and exchange the e-mails.
You are so called a living guide.
Plum, the other day I received a call telling me his grandson will have an engagement ceremomy. She wanted fo find a bride for him, and I introduced him two ladies, but the result was refusal from the ladies. I inroduced him a community of Nanzan University, where a professor makes arrangements. There he can find a partner. He was lucky, but his eagerness leads him success(?),I think. If I know a lady who wants to marry, I'll tell you. I know a man who is 38 looking for a partner. Do you know a lady who matches him?
Azalea, lucky you. A king fisher must be very beautiful.
Alice, how is your work going on?
Good night, my precious frinds and teachers.
Hi, everyone!!!
It has been another cold day today, hasn’t it? I really hate this cold, but we have to bear it until spring comes.
I had a few visitors this morning. Actually I had asked the renovation company to send some staff, since I wanted to discuss my bathroom and west sunroom renovation plans. After we wrapped up our talk, one man suddenly began to speak about his colleague who came with him and whom I have known for some years. He asked me whether I knew a woman who might be suitable for his married partner. I just laughed, ‘cause I assumed that he was joking or kidding me. But he was serious, which surprised me a lot. His colleague, Mr. Y, was just sitting around in my lounge, listening to our chat, sheepishly smiling.
He is a nice young man aged 32, quite tall and not thin but not fat. Also he is a capable, hardworking professional in renovation. Maybe, a bit shy, quiet, and modest-looking. I like him. He is not very handsome but not as ugly as my husband, and so he is OK to me.
My nephew, at last, got married last year, and his wife is a New Zealander with three children aged from 20 to 2. Now he is a father of three kids. Oh, what a life!!! I know many men, young and old, who are looking for their married partner. I also know some women who strongly wish to get married and settle down. But I am not good at match-making, unfortunately.
Well, I will talk to you again tomorrow, my precious friends. Goodnight.
Hi everyone!!!
Oh, cold, isn’t it?
It snowed so heavily today, and the highest snowfall was 13 centimeters deep, I was told. Isn’t it unprecedented?
Anyway, I just hope you, everyone, look after yourselves. Warm up yourselves so that you won’t catch cold. I am going to have an early night. Goodnight, my dear friends.
