Shiny green

Hi, everyone!

Alice, it is actually special for children to celebrate their birthday from others. My younger daughter has never received celebration on time from her friends and teachers, because she was born on August, in the middle of summer vacation. But last year it was different. Her teacher send her a birthday (and summer greeting) card on the very day of her birthday. What a tender affection! She was very glad at the card, of course. I appreciated that teacher.

Plum, it’s a good thing you came through the roof crisis. By the way, I like those trees in the shrine on the opposite side of your house. Whenever I visited your lovely room, I could enjoy looking the shiny green of the trees through window. That scenery is really charming for anybody, isn’t it? But I have never heard such terrible sound, and now I am going to imagine it…Oh, I recall Kazeno matasaburo, not Wuthering Heights. I’m only Japanese…

So, see you tomorrow. Bye!

It's a shame. As soon as I posted the previous comment, I found a mistake. It's a shame...
I will not read it this time. It will last forever.....
I can't sleep.

Dear Cherry and friends,

Hello.

Cherry, I noticed that your writing style has been thick and square these days. Yes, I noticed Azalea's change, too. I like your new styles. I can tell you're writing essays.

We had to submit abstracts yesterday afternoon.
Teachers decided some rules about theses, abstracts, and thesis presentation. As for abstracts, one rule says that one person from each laboratory represents the group, collects abstracts, and submits them. I had already handed mine to a classmate whose name is Hayashi-san last week so that I can concentrate on making a Power Point file for presentation.
Today, I went to school and made sure that the abstracts were submitted.
I didn't worry because he is trustworthy. However, the errand I asked him turned out be a job that irritated him. There are only 3 people in our laboratory. Another classmate didn't show up until yesterday afternoon. Not only did he make Hayashi-san wait, but also he had not finished writing his abstracts when he finally showed up. So Hayashi-san had to help him finish it and submitted ours one hour before the closing time. I sincerely thanked Hayashi-san.

Hayashi-san and I practiced presentations today. Last week we asked our teacher to give us advice, so the teacher came this morning. We learned how to edit contents and make them sound and look better. But another classmate who troubled Hayashi-san didn't attend the seminar today. I can't understand such impoliteness.
By the way, both Hayashi-san and I are very demanding students. Even during longterm holidays, we plan to have seminars and ask teachers to come and give us instructions. Once I have heard another teacher say, “if I were [our] teacher, I would decline to attend the seminar.” She admits that our teacher is quite generous. Indeed, we're lucky.

Hi, everyone!!!
I had a visitor today and we had a great time together. She got me an apple pie and so I made some coffee, and we had pie pieces, one for each, plus coffee. I had another visitor on Tuesday, and so I have had two visitors so far this week, one at each time.

Thank you, Cherry, for letting me know that you like taking a look at the trees in the shrine from my lounge. Yes, they are lovely in mild weather, aren’t they? Some of them are so huge, and, since the shrine does not take care of the trees, every few years we find a dead tree lying on the ground. But none of the community people pays any attention to it, and so I sometimes try to remove dread tress, which actually crumble to pieces once you touch them with something such as a wooden stick, and thus it is not easy to take them away. I normally do that in April or May.

We used to live near Chikusa Station, and I had nose trouble all the time due to the exhaust gas while my husband skin trouble. It is good to live at a place with a lot of trees around. Since we moved into this house, neither of us has had the health trouble we used to have. Amazing, isn’t it?

My husband and I are planning to go to Ohita to see our granddaughter on the second weekend of March. Oh, I just cannot wait to see her. I also would like to see our grandson, but Sydney is too far away, unfortunately.

It’s gonna be another cold day tomorrow. Please look after yourselves, my lovely friends.

Hello, everyone.

Plum, I know that apple pie. When I went to Nittaiji Temple on its festival day of 21st as a volunteer interpreter last fall, I found the apple pie sold on the street on my way home, so I bought it as a souvenir, which was very good.
I wonder if it was from the same shop. Maybe so.
