The terrifying case

Hi, everyone!

Thank you for letting us know about the newest event in France, Plum. It is said that the French are very proud of their language, and aren’t fond of English. Is this a sort of globalization?

By the way, there was a cruel crime in Akihabara last Sunday. This accident made me very depressed, because I have received a lot of information about some suspicious people from kids’ school these days. One of the news told us about a man with something like a knife, stalking some kids in the nearest park two weeks ago. I am afraid of such a terrifying case.

But I think it is not surprising now that there seems to be a lot of depressing men in Japan.(women, too, may be depressed in some extent)Though everyone manages to live their lives with little dissatisfaction on the face of our society, in fact, there must be a surprising, unexpected power against the outside world in younger people. It is really sad….

Sorry for writing a bid blue topic. Thank you, see you!

Hi, ladies!!!
Yes, I agree with you, Cherry. There are a lot of strange people hanging around out there, and so we have to be very careful and protect ourselves in our power, otherwise we tend to be easily victimized by them.

Especially young children are, in a way, exposed to merciless and cruel reality in their everyday life. They are too defenseless and powerless in a society, where older beings normally rule younger ones, and that’s is the reason I would often say the childhood is the hardest period in our lifetime. I almost everyday pray that all the children in the world would grow up without any hardship or horrified experience.

It is so sad, but it is true that there are child molesters and child killers hidden somewhere in our society. When I was 6, just before I started school, I was molested by a public junior high school boy, perhaps, living in the neighborhood. His face was not unfamiliar, but I did not know his name or where he lived. Every time I passed by the school, which was about 5 or 6 minutes’ walk away from my house, the frightened and brutal experience I was forced to go through returned to me. Afterwards I saw him once or twice in the same year, but I was too young to attack him.

This experience of mine made me hate the school building, and I asked my parents to send me to a private school not the public school very near my house.

Very unpleasant story to hear, isn’t it? But that’s what happened to me as a child. I think I could barely survived psychologically and mentally, but I am aware that there are a great number of silent women still suffering from the molestation they were helplessly forced to experience.

Be careful and cautious, my precious friends. We, adult women, should kick out child molesters from our society and create a safer and peaceful community.

I believe all of you agree with me, my lovely friends. Bye for now.

Dear Cherry and friends,

Hello. I'm feeling I have missed a lot.
How are you?
I've just read your diary and comments.
We've been hearing bad news these days.
Especially the one that happened in Akihabara.
And about Plum's comment. I'm very very sorry for you. I really feel furious with such molesters.

No wonder mothers these days chauffeur their children everywhere and we don't see many children in the park.
Indeed, we live in a dangerous society. But may I confirm? Japan is still the safest and most peaceful country, isn't it?

Oh, by the way, Plum. Thank you for making a presentation program for Summer Seminar. I'm much obliged to you.

Cosmos' reply was humorous as usual. I agree with your opinion. We are losing time, aren't we? Where has it gone? When I drive, I listen to an audio CD. I'm listening to Dr. Cobby's “7 habits of highly effective people.” According to him, we don't have to control time, but control ourselves. Well, he is quite right.

Good night.
