Hi, ladies!!
June will come to the end, we will meet July soon, and that event is nearly upon us! Wow! Time fries. Now I am trying to copy the video which was recorded at last year’s seminar, on a new tape so that everyone could see it. Thanks to Alice’s advice, I feel I can do it by the rehearsal for this year’s seminar. Unfortunately I had some mistakes at that time, and my turn couldn’t be recorded. How stupid I was…Anyway you can see that we were enjoying those presentations in it!
Plum has sent us this year’s paper so that we can check it at the very end, and I am surprised that how many times we should carefully examine the paper. Since I was not sure about such a patient job, I’ve almost forgotten my work??? I have to be ready for good finish.
Well, see you tomorrow, bye!!

Dear Cherry and friends,
Cherry, how considerate you are to show us the recordings of that event. Actually I hesitate to watch it because I was too nervous, but it is surely a good chance to look back; tone of voice, pitch, where to lool at, facial expressions and more. You are so good at mechanical things!
I hope I can catch up today's high-tech gadgets. It started raining. To hear the falling raindrops hitting the roof sometimes ease my nerves as if it patted my shoulder.Good night, my dear friends.
Hi, ladies!!!
How are you doing?
Yes, time flies like an arrow, doesn’t it? And life is but a dream…as in the song Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Are you familiar with this song? I do love this song tremendously.
Yes, June is coming to an end in a few days, and I can say good-bye to my medical corset tomorrow. I am extremely happy about it. Since I got an operation in my waist I have been wearing a corset while I am awake, which means from the time I get up to the time I get into bed. This corset weighs, perhaps, about one kilo., and carrying one kilo. besides our clothes is terribly troublesome, and this makes it quite difficult for me to move around. But one more day, then I will be liberated, won’t I?
This spring I found a lot of baby Japanese maple trees in my garden that grew from seeds, which were blown from some maple trees in the neighborhood. Maybe I can make a bonsai-style miniature garden with these tiny maple trees, although I have never tried that. I saw a remarkably tiny cute garden when I visited Blenheim Palace outside London. There was a little waterway in it and the whole garden was named “Secret Garden.” Along the waterway of less than 10 cms in width, tiny tress of different kinds were planted. It was marvelous.
Well, I have to go out, probably for a few hours, now, my lovely friends. I will talk to you tomorrow. Bye for now.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Time and tide wait for no men is another expression I can remeber. Plum, I love that song, too. When I was in the seventh grade, my English teacher taught us a lot of English songs. Row, row, row your boat is one of my favorite songs. Whenever I had a hard time, I remember this song with the memory of my happy innocent schooldays, which really encourages me. I cannot count how many times I hum this song.
Row, row row your boat
Gently down the stream
merrily merrily merrily merriliy
Life is but a dream.
In those days, I just enjoyed the melody and didn't think much of the lyrics. The last phrase Plum mentioned these days sounds like an alarm filled with suggestions.
Since our life is limited, we have to enjoy ourselves every miniue.
Plum, it is good to hear that you are free from the inconvienient corset at last!
Have a fantastic weekend!
