HI, ladies!!
I’m very happy to read your writings about social issues, Sunflower and Cosmos! Those are fantastic, and so I copied them. I want to write in English so compactly and fluently like all of you, but it will take a long time, I assume.
Anyway, I’ll keep writing everyday.
Plum, I appreciate your interesting research. I can recognize the importance of detail for an investigation.
Today is about to end peacefully, and I feel relieved now. I’m delightful to know the wonderfulness of an ordinary daily life. How about you? I hope all of you have enjoyed normal but excellent day. So, see you. Have a nice dream…

Hello, Cherry and my dear friends.
It's so nice to read Cherry's today's comment. Indeed we're so blessed with peaceful time to devote our energy to keep writing on our little daily lives on this blog.
Do you agree or disagree with biofuels? What are good points and bad points of biofuels?
Ethanole and other bio-fuels will surely become main future energy sources instead of fossil fuels such as petroleum. Two good points and one bad one will be discussed over bio-fuels.
First, one bad point of bio-fuels is that they contribute to soaring food prices across the world. The demand of ethanol and other bio-fuels is significant contributors to high-rocketing food prices.
Programs in Europe and the United States that have increased the bio-fuel products have also contributed to added demand for food. Meanwhile, many people in the world were suffering from food shortages and the high cost of food. The price of corn has more than doubled in the U.S. It must be serious problems for those who are poor. Some efficient plans to deal with them should be devised by the developed countries.
Secondly good points of bio-fuels are clean because they are natural resources. For example, ethanol is produced from crops such as corn, wheat, rice and sugar. Bio-fuels reduce emission of greenhouse gases.
And moreover we can reduce dependence on petroleum. The cost of gasoline has been increasing due to unstable and vulnerable international markets. Energy security is very important. It’s good to have clean and eco-friendly alternative fuels instead of fossil fuels.
It’s redundant, I know, but I’d like to say that there seems to be considerable tainted rice which is not edible. It might be good if the rice which has twice or three times acceptable level of the pesticide were used as alternative fuels.
The conclusion is that the demand of ethanol and other bio-fuels has contributed to soaring food prices, which could drive more people deeper into poverty.
However, bio-fuels are future clean and safety alternative fuels taking the place of fossil fuels.
Tomorrow is the respect for the aged. I'm happy I have just sent some fruit including grapes and mandarine orages to my paretns in Kobe.
Surprisingly enough, my son and his wife sent a potted flower to them one day earlier. Today my parents called me saying it was a very unexpected present from their sweet grandson and his wife.
See you tomorrow, my sweet friends.
Hi, everybody!
Thank you for your interesting comment about bio-fuel, Sunflower. I understand what you said, but I dare to say another opinion about this issue.
Many experts thought that bio-fuel would become ideal alternative energy resources. However it turned out to bring another trouble such as food shortage and skyrocketing food prices. Especially the poor in developing countries have been damaged. America now prohibits producing bio-fuel from corn. This trial turned out to be a failure accompanied by an unexpected aftereffect. We must admit that it was a shallow thinking. How do we get clean energy instead of fossil fuel?
Wind and solar heat should be used more. I really expect scientists develop the technology to make use of these natural energy. If we can produce a lot of energy from these unlimited natural resource instead of limited petroleum, pollution problems will be phased down.
Next, what I really want to insist is that we should change our life style. People had better have local food produced in neighbors. We shouldn’t buy imported food in distant areas, which is expensive because of consuming energy for transportation, furthermore, they might be filled with disinfectants to last long. Familiar local food is fresher, cheaper and safer. I think we should learn more from a life-style of old village community. Now I’ll wrap it up. Bye, my dear friends.
