Hi, everyone!
Today my kids' school has over.
At last a long summer vacation starts from tomorrow.
It makes me tired, but I will try to enjoy it with kids.
Do you have any nice plan this summer?
I have some. That will be a good gift for me.
By the way, do you like a highland or a seafront in summer?
When I was a young girl, I loved the sea.
But these days I don't want to go there so much.
Is it because of my age?
Maybe.
Here in Nagoya, there are many summer resorts nearby.
Since I have never been Gihu, I want to go sightseeing there in autumn.
So, see you, friends!

Dear Cherry and friends
Hi!
I have small news. I would like to tell you this. At last, I passed Eiken! This is a miraculous result for me. I couldn't believe this immediately. I have to thank all the members of this study group for being teachers, trainers, and comrades.
It will be a comfortable afternoon today. The sky is clearing up now. It's a bit cloudy 'cause we had rain this morning. Ceders started to make noise. How about in your area? I will stay at home until I finish writing the speech manuscript for tomorrow's seminar.
Have a good afternoon.

Dear Cherry and friends
Congratulations, Alice! You have come to fruition, haven’t you? I am very happy to hear good news from you. Now you can concentrate on your studying. You always live up to our expectations.
By the way, now, summer vacation has begun, hasn’t it? It the beginning of the long enduring terms for young mothers having children. I miss the last hectic days of summer vacation of my daughter’s school days. They had to spent a hard few days, concentrating on finishing their home works such as painting and handicraft. Sometimes I had to help them. I think there are two types of persons, ones who start everything earlier according to the plan, the others who do things at random without designing anything. And, surely my daughters inherit my gene, the latter’s trait. What a shame!
Hi, everyone!!!
Thank you for writing in your blog everyday, Cherry. I always enjoy reading your blog. But I know how hard and tiresome, sometimes, it is to keep writing regularly.
You are working so hard, Cherry. I really appreciate your efforts, and at the same time I would like you to keep writing from now on too so that you could definitely improve your English skills and will feel much more comfortable about using English in your everyday life.
Alice, congratulations on your success in the Eiken test. I know you were well prepared for the test and really wanted you to get a rewarding result. Absolutely you deserve your result, and it is not a miracle. Practice makes perfect, and now you know it’s true. You’ve got what you wanted by striving for it. What wonderful news it is!!!
I missed Cherry’s Blog on Wednesday though I came to my daughter’s place. On that day my daughter invited her friend and Yuko-chan, and seven of us got together to have fish and vegetables cooked in a pot on the table. (It’s winter here in Sydney.) Yoji’s father got intoxicated and extremely merry and cracked terrible jokes. (I was very embarrassed about his stupidity, but tried hard not to show my feelings. You may think that I am conceited but he is, after all, just a normal middle-aged Japanese man.) I left the place, maybe, at around one in the morning of the following day.
On Thursday and Friday I stayed at my lodge, writing a textbook for my English class held at the library. (We finished the textbook by the end of the spring semester, and I searched for a new one, but could not find any suitable one. Thus I decided to write a book for my class.)
It is Saturday today. On the way to my daughter’s place I dropped in to the fishmonger’s shop near her flat and ate a set of calamari and chips for 7. 50 dollars. I was full, but when I got to her place, a beautiful lunch with sushi and miso soup as well as avocado salad was ready on the table. I declined their kind invitation to the meal as politely as possible, but ate a slice of avocado, which tasted great.
Tomorrow is 22nd, and I wish you all best of luck in your presentation.
It’s getting dark. I have to go now. Bye, bye, my dear friends.
