Wider vocabulary

Hi, everyone!

It seems just exciting that five members of us took part in Jonathan’s discussion, and I think really difficult for me to give my opinion about such serious subjects. I need much wider vocabulary. Anyway, I was surprised by Sunflower’s comment that there are only one percent Christians in Japan. I heard more than 30 percent in Korea. Why is it so small?

I finished today ‘Nobuko’ by Yuriko Miyamoto. Though it was wrote at the Taisho period, I could felt empathy with her emotions. In this book, being confined to their home, she struggled for her own freedom, finally divorced her husband, and found pleasure in writing her works. It is very valuable to me. Thank you for your advice, Plum.
I will mention later about ‘The Yellow Wallpaper,’ and I’m ready to read ‘The Feminine Mystique.’ I have read it in Japanese on the recommendation of a friend of mine.

I’m happy to read your comments every day, and they really make me feel relieved.
I’m looking forward to meet all of you, dear friends!

Good bye, see you tomorrow.

Hi,everyone.

Peach, I am suffering from senile dimentia and I forget spelling of words every day. However, thank you.

Do you know the highest mountain in Nagoya?

It's the Togoku mountain located between Moriyama ward and Seto city.

Do you know how high it is?

It's 198.3m high.

Today, I went to the mountain. It takes about 1 hour to climb and return to the parking area.
You can apprecaite 3 tumuluses on the way to the view tower at the top.
Up and down is not modest. It is an exercise like a lateral thigh trainer. (This instrument is covered with dust on the corridor in my house.) After we returned to the parking lots, we entered the Fruits Park. At the entrance, there was a sign saying you can enjoy an apple harvest.
We went to the spot. An table was there.
Three of man and wemen are behind the table. In front of the table , one old woman with maybe her grandchild was telling something with them. When we approaching them, the old woman asked us 'You also want to harvest apples? Look, they want, too. We come here all the way. Please let us harvest apples' One of three said 'We have just closed it, however O.K. You can. The fee is 500 yen. Each of you can harvest only 6 apples.'
Thanks to the old woman's perseverance, we could get 6 apples but they are not red close to green. My husband seemed to be very happy. He was eager to find good apples. After I got home, I made an apple pie. Sorry, I can't share it with you. It's delicious. It means apples were not so sweet. They were well with cooking an apple pie.

Hello, Friends.

Azalea, how energetic couple you are! You go fishing, go to spa and climb a mountain almost every weekend, don't you?
That is supposed to be my ideal style in twilight days before.

Why didn't you drop in my house, which is 10 minutes' drive from Togokusan, or I wanted to join you. I like fruits park and sometimes want to go, but whenever I asked my husband to go together, he rejected, so I gave it up because it's not interesting for picking grapes and apples alone.

That's enough for me to think about it. No more loneliness, no more husband. I've made a fresh start.
