At a swimming school

Hi, everyone!

Peach, I’m glad to hear that your PC could be repaired soon. Actually, when it freezes, we also freeze, don’t we?

Cosmos, I enjoyed your story of trip to China with your brothers. Can your sister remember some Mandarin? I can see the wonderfulness of China a little bit, because my husband’s father is hooked on going there recently, and he visited China three times for past one year. He says that he likes a lot of magnificent, unsophisticated views, and he proudly shows those pictures to us every time.

This afternoon, I went to a swimming school in my neighborhood to make application for my younger daughter. She is a poor swimmer, and decided to go there these days. While I went through several procedures, I was really surprised by many, many people of middle age or older coming to take lessons. They looked like regular customers, who were really enjoying their club lives.

I envied them at that time, and I recalled some members of us have enjoyed swimming...Magnolia and Sunflower? In fact, I’m going to visit some aikido schools for women next week, and I’d like to decide good one. I’m really looking for that lesson. My season for sports will come soon.

So, see you tomorrow, good bye!

Hi, everyone.

Yesterday, I wrote twice on the blog. I failed the final procedure in the log-in. The message disappeared.
Sorry, Sunflower.
and Thank you for your nice story with your friend in Sendai. I also like Zuiganji temple and Zundamochi.
My huband repeated 'Zundamochi, Zundamochi' at the airport after he ate it at the Sendai railway station. He meant that you should buy Zundamochi as a souvenir. It was dismissed. Zundamochi is delicious when we eat it at Sendai.

However, I asked Peach to resend her e-mail address because I sent twice to her but e-mails were returned. It is good. Peach, would you tell me your e-mail address through another way not on the blog?

Cherry, Moving your body is good.
I hope you will choose the good one you can continue with joy.

Cosmos, thank you for your travel to China. Your sister's feeling is well expressed.

To everyone living with too-busy or thinking life is consisting of full schedule.
You feel fatigue longer than you feel as usual or if you feel it lingers, please take a respite then your tiredness is not mitigated.
You are expected to go to the practioner or check up.

Hello, friends!

Welcome back, Cosmos & Peach!
Cosmos, how was the food in China? Was it good and not dangerous? I'm worried about that. But you really enjoyed your trip with your sister and brothers including your husband. I envy that you have such a good company to travel together. If you can share good memory, your ties will be strengthened.

Cherry, I'm a member of the gym including a pool, but I'm not good at swimming. I just enjoy aquabics and play with noodles which are made of styrene foam and make me float in the water, so I feel very comfortable stretching myself on the noodles like a hammock.

Does anyone want to take one coin lesson (500 yen) of Action language Academy, which will be held on Oct.14, That is an English school for Movie English. I used to go there. It's only one hour lesson, but always interesting for me, so I'll attend it. If there is any applicant, let me know.

Hi, my friends
I found a kind of misunderstanding of the prewar history of China and Japan in your questions.
Cherry, you asked if my sister recalled any Chinese words. The question is off the point, in a sense. You know Japan was one of the big companies with big military power and dominated China. Japanese occupation government forced Chinese to use Japanese. Actually most Japanese living in China didn’t have to speak Chinese language except persons having special tasks. On the other hand Chinese had to learn Japanese half forcibly and half voluntarily in order to try to gain Japanese favor. That’s why many senior Chinese and Taiwanese can understand Japanese even now. There is always an unchanged rule between the strong and the weak, the weaker people eager to learn the language of the strong to survive.
Nowadays English is dominative all over the world. Many Caucasians living in Japan are poor at speaking Japanese. But many Asians are fluent Japanese speakers. The level of mastering foreign languages is deeply related with national strength. My sister went to Japanese school run by Japanese Government, accompanied by Japanese speaking maid. So Chinese words she can remember are only name of foods.
Magnolia, you worried about the safety of Chinese food. Don’t worry. If you eat any meals in the country, I think it’s no problem. Export foods are probably ones we should not be reliable. According to media coverage, they are stained with antiseptics. So we had better refrain from food produced in China. I love Chinese dishes and enjoyed the menus during the trip as well as my companions.
Nannjin is a very big capital city in the state, far bigger than Nagoya. Next I’d like to talk about the city more in detail.
I think the image of Chinese that Japanese have is very negative. But whenever I visited there I was overwhelmed their deep affluent culture with long history which is beyond the reach of Japan, in terms of a scale and history.
I’ll end my today’s comment. See you tomorrow! Good night, everybody.

Hi, everyone!!!
It has been a hot day today, hasn’t it?

I have much less domestic duty today, and it seems that I have nearly finished all the domestic work I have to do for the time being. (I have been very busy since my return from Sydney.) This morning a Sony man came to check my television, and there was nothing wrong with it, and so I was relieved. The other day my television did not work properly, and so I called the Sony after-sales service center, but it was discovered that there was something wrong with the connection to the cable television, not with my television set. Anyway it is a piece of good news. I have had an enough number of problems so far, and I really did not want to have any more problems.

I also had an electrician, who installed a new air-conditioner in my bedroom. It took a long time for him to change the old one for a new one. Anyway, it was finished all right. So it is another piece of good news.

Maybe, I told you about this, but I am thinking of getting a new cooktop, and I already got a brochure and contacted an agent about what I wanted. I thought that a Miele one was good, but it seems that there are no 4-burner cooktops produced by Miele now, or at least not on sale in Japan. I am trying to get a cooktop by Gaggenau, which is also a German company like Miele. Probably Gaggenau has a longer production history than Miele, but I am sure. Also I don’t know whether the one I wanted to have could fit into my kitchen. So I am just waiting for a phone call from the Gaggenau agent, who is not so efficient…

Two days ago one of my neighbors gave me some mountain mushrooms, and so I cooked them with some noodles for dinner. They were so tasty, and smelled of real wild mushrooms, a gift from nature or something like that…

Have you finished your dinner, my precious friends? I will work a little longer tonight and go to bed. I will talk to you again tomorrow. Bye for now.
