HI, everyone!
Alice, there are serious problems about accountability in our society these days. I wonder why so many big companies couldn’t explain the cause of their failure honestly. We now found that it might be a mistake to trust them. As far as a product is concerned, we can shrug it off, but we have no choice in our kids’ education. It seems natural for your friend to be serious about it. Still, we can’t give up such conditions yet.
So, see you tomorrow. Good night!

Hello, Cherry and friends
Schools have a various problems such as increasing bullying and school violence, more and more children’s refusal to go to school etc.. Actually it is very difficult for teachers to teach students in the same way of the past. Alice’s friend blamed teachers and school of their evasion of responsibility. However I always think why media report so badly about teachers and schools. Media severely criticize teachers’ negligence and inadequate response, once a troubled case happened. Parents don’t believe in teachers of their children, and children don’t respect their teachers. That is a vicious cycle. Without mutual trust among teachers, parents and students, there is no good education at school. Have you heard the word “Monster parents”, who always complain to teachers and ask egoistic demand to school and teacher. They think such actions are their right of parents. The teachers and schools attacked by media cannot fight back in all cases. Sometimes I really feel sympathy for teachers who have to get along with incorrigible pupils and parents. My view is too biased supporting teachers, isn’t it? I know each situation is not so simple. So I urge the press shouldn’t make unfair report only from the parents’ viewpoint.
Hello, everyone
I partly agree with Cosmos.
Public welfare requires obligations and responsiblities.
Freedom does not mean lawless condition. However, I don't like violence. Reprimand is not the same with hitting. I think whoever hits a student can not subdue his or her wrath. Teacher is required to compose his or her emotion.
And I am sick with fuss of mass media.
Hi, everyone!!!
How are you doing?
I enjoyed reading your discussion messages on elementary school teachers and students.
I have been awfully busy for the past few days, and I am still busy today. I will talk to you again tomorrow, my sweet, sweet friends.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Hello.
I'm glad to hear your opinions.
Yes. It's important for both teachers and parents to communicate each other.
They should not make media intervene their own problems.
By the way, I am going to send a calendar to a friend who lives in Canada.
I was asked last autumn and I should have sent it last year. However, I wanted to send some Christmas presents for her kids. Their very humble request was two comic books. I ordered it in the beginning of December via Amazon.co.jp. One of them hasn't been delivered yet. I gave up to send it. I'll send a calendar and a comic book today.
Have a good evening.
Hello, friends.
I wonder if there is still like 'Kinpachi sensei' who really loves his pupils. I'm afraid that teachers are becoming like salaried men these days. Tsuda Umeko really loved her students, actually she called them 'scholars'and took care of them very much. She wanted them to live together like her old American school.
When she founded Joshi Eigaku-jyuku, she lived with more than 30 students in her house, which was actually her school. She dined with them ,took them to some outings and shared the same experience together, teaching them a lot of knowledge for them to live independantly. She enjoyed her work very much though she had a big responsibility and she was always busy teaching English lessons, music, plays and Christianity.
