Today, June 18, 2008, is the Memorial Day we started this Blog.
The whole past year is almost miracle for me. Since Plum suggested us a new plan to improve our writing ability and skill a year ago, we have had this fantastic experience along with a lot of encouragement, inspiration, and courage. They have deeply impressed me, charmed me, and changed me. I’ve never had such wonderful days in my life.
I would appreciate you very, very much, Plum.
And all of you, dearest friends!!!

One year has passed since Cherry started this blog! I am also extremely happy to be on this occasion. Cherry, you showed us great tenacity and persistency for a year. Plum, thank you for leading us to the most effective way. Daily efforts take time, but it is worth challenging. Again to know and to do is a different thing. I'll tell any English learner the way you mentioned in order to improve their Englsih.

Cherry, I am very glad I am observing this blog's first anniversary today. I am indeed obliged to you. Time and tide change the person. Continuous efforts necessarily promise a progress. At least, this blog members see the phenomenon in front of them.
Today, I succeeded in accessing the library site which is built adjacent to the Liberal Democratic party's haedquarters for the first time. I would be able to obtain copies. Recently, I found that subscribers of the 1905 times newspaper were interested in what I want to read every day in the newspaper. Subjects are no more than politics, foreign phenomena and economics.
I suppose so.

Time flies! I felt that it was just yesterday you started this blog, but one year has already passed. How fast time passes year by year! I'll be an old woman without noticing.

I also appreciate all the contributors to this Cherry’s blog. How splendid you have been, writing in messages and encouraging Cherry!!!
It is not easy to learn a foreign language, although it is always an exciting and intriguing experience. The most important factor in it is persistence. Maybe, patience and tenacity. Yes, you have to be sticky… Hold onto it.
Also use the foreign language you are learning in your everyday life, such as a blog, like this one. Have more English experiences and show your feelings in English expressions. Be open and frank, and friendly, in English.
Cherry, do you think you can continue this English blog for a while, say, three more months, until September 18th, on which day I will be in Kumamoto to give a talk at Kyushu Lutheran University?
I hope all the contributors will agree with this suggestion of mine. But, Cherry, if I am asking too much, or if it is too much a burden, or if there is any reason that you cannot continue or if you will be too busy, just let me know.
Cherry, just try to write in your blog as many weekdays as possible. You can have a weekend off, which means you do not have to write in on Saturdays or Sundays, although just if you feel like writing in, you are more than welcome. Anyway it is your blog and we are all contributors. You can write in as you like, Cherry.
Improve your English skills and show us how you are progressing and give us a fascinating time to read your messages, Cherry.
Well, it is getting late. I think I have to get ready for bed. It has been a hectic day, teaching two classes at Gakusen University, but personally it have been the most remarkable day to celebrate our first year birthday. Thank you for giving me the most brilliant year. I will never forget such an enjoyable year, my precious friends. I am extremely happy that you are always standing by Cherry and me…
