I felt grateful to Plum and my friends for listening to my incomplete and boring presentation last Sunday. Next time on the day of the Aichi Seminar I’ll do my best to draw attention of our guests to my story of Lady Kujo.
Today I aspired to read Muyuge, flowers without sorrow, the best selling books of Lady Kujo in English. I accessed the Amazon.com Web site to finish ordering it. I’m expecting to read it as early as next month.
One of the most famous poems of hers is as follows. It is written on her monument in the precinct of the Tukiji Honganji. I'd like to share this poem with you.
When being pulled by a greater cause, my own footprints seem so unsteady.
（大いなるものの 力にひかれゆく
わが足あとの おぼつかなさ）
The word "cause" is unfamiliar to me, but it must have an important meaning.
