Hi, everyone!
These days nice weather has continued, and so we can really feel comfortable, can’t we?
I have also never heard the name of Doris Lessing, Plum. Today’s newspaper says that her world is based on three main points of Marxism, anti-racism, and feminism. This kind of work is your province. It is joyful for us, and all women, that such a gifted woman is publicly honored. Thank you very much for letting know us.
Alice, you had overworked with your hard presentation, hadn’t you? Please get a good rest.
Fortunately, Magnolia will be able to see Ms. Hisako Yamada, who directed the movie ‘ Hudeko sono ai.’ I’m glad to get permission from a host organization, and I canceled a previous appointment and decide to go there that day. I’d like to take a commemorative photograph of Magnolia. Somebody, could you join us?
So, good bye, see you!

Hi, everyone.
Alice, are you fully recovered? I will try your cold proof drink
when I catch a cold.
Cherry and Magnolia, I hope you will enjoy a movie and encountering with a director.
I haven not heard about Doris Lessing until yesterday morning.
This is a ship when we are very crossing Moon river.
Today, the fossil of a duck billed dinosaur is found in Kyusyu. They had cheeks and cartrige of tooth, they mowed grasses like cow.
Dear Cherry and frineds,
Thank you for asking me how I am today. I'm much much better, today.
Last night, before I slept, I regretted one thing. I wrote, "Lack of sleep diminishes immune strength." That's my regret. I should have written, it "deteriorates" immune strength.
However, such trivial regret didn't prevent me from sleeping.
Today, I met one of my high school friends who lives in Gamagori. We had lunch beside a harbour. After lunch we took a walk along the waterfront.
We haven't met for some years. As soon as she got married, she went to Czech, a former communist country, following her husband. There she lived for four years.
This winter they came back to Japan.
Her husband works for a company in the Toyota group and was sent to Czech as a member of a project which launched a factory and trained local workers.
When she first went there she couldn't speak Czech. Some project members and their families were sent there, but Japanese people's community was very small.
While listening to her story, I tried to imagine how it was like to live in such a place as a housewife.
Good night.
Hi, friends.
Yesterday I had a chance to attend the explanatory meeting of JICA's Senior and junior overseas volunteers at Aichi University.
Mr.Kuwayama, a young doctor talked about his experience in 53 countries including Somalia, Ghana and Cambodia as a volunteer. His talk moved me very much and he looked very mature and attractive adult. He said that he became more humble after living in developing countries, helping and curing sick people whom he was taught many things. For example, the children of refugee camp don't forget smiling anytime. They are strong and thrive in adversity.
He is good at singing and he made a lot of musics with guitar and violin. I enjoyed his music which was so beautiful. What a talent he has! I thought that beautiful mind can make a beautiful music.
He encouraged us to be a volunteer, but when I looked at the brochure, they need some engineers and science teachers.
So I brought it and showed my husband and asked if he wanted to be a volunteer, but he rejected my offer, saying,"Why do you want me to go such a country?"
I replied, "You'll be an attractive man after experiencing a volunteer."
