Cherry blossoms

Hi, everyone!

Have you enjoyed this best season for cherry blossoms? I haven’t visited a special site for viewing them yet, but I can easily enjoy beautiful flowers on a neighbor street, popularly known as sakurazaka, every day. There are a lot of cherry trees along the street, shaping a long archway of flowers. I usually try walking to a supermarket through that archway in spring in order to have a nice time in my daily life. But on my way home back, I’m always tired with some heavy plastic bags because of its steep slope. Anyway, I love this street and cherry trees. What is more, I’m also CHERRY now.

Cosmos, I also like ‘mission, passion and action.’ The most important thing among them may be mission, I guess. We have only to find our own mission, and we can comfortably make progress, can’t we? But it is difficult for me to meet it…

So, see you tomorrow, good night.

Hi, everyone,

It is Friday, March 28. It was a beatiful day. I'm going to write about what makes taste of rice better. When I visited Wakasa Bay several years ago, I was amazed with the tasty rice I had at a private house providing bed and meals so called minsyuku. "Rice produced in Fukui is nice and tasty." I have been a great fan of Fukui rice. Today I met a man whose wife came from Fukui. He told me an important requirement for tasty rice. Do you know what it is ? He said it was cold water running from the melting snow.
Thank you for reading.

Hi, friends. It is Saturday, March 29. It is another beautiful day. Today I'd like to mention an important feature of Origami. As you well know Origami or folding paper is one of the traditional Japanese cultures. I have thought that Japanese people but me are very skillful, so we but me can try origami and finish it beatifully. Today I was told another charm of origami: Paper is one of the soft materials. There is an old saying that Soft methods often get the better of brute force. Paper can be very strong and even bear the strength of stone. It is one of the characteristics of Japanese minds.
I haven't noticed that till now, have you?

Hello, friends.

Today I had a famous guest, who is a TV Asahi announcer, Tomikawa Yuta. He used to live in front of my house until he was elementary student with his family and even now they have a house there, which is almost always empty because he is working in Tokyo as well as his father, who wanted to live in Kasugai after retirement when he came back from Canada and rebuilt the house 2 years ago, but he has to work 2 more years in Tokyo.

So sometimes someone in his family came to stay and this time Yuta stayed with his wife and 5 month old son for 2 days because he was invited to his friend's wedding yesterday.
He wanted to see my children, calling my son and daughter and my house became a full house, so I cooked lunch for 8 people.
My daughter cooked salad and I made paella and 2 kinds of pasta which were meat sauce spaghetti and genoveze.

It was the first time to meet my son's 3-month-old daughter and their son who were too young to have any communication, but they had some interest each other, gazing and pulling their blanket together.

I was tired and relieved after all they left, but I really had a great time with them.

Dear Cherry and friends

Today is the last day of March. I always say this and say this again, “How fast time is flying!” I have to brace myself in this fresh season just like a new pupil.
Magnolia, I am always impressed with your nice hospitality, in addition, you are a good cook. How happy your family and your acquaintances! All had a great pleasure time together, didn’t they?
Well, I had a chatting time at a café with my friend. She talked about her daily episode. This is one of them. A lot of garbage bags are frequently left in front of her house by unknown passengers. She is very angry at the unlawful dumping of garbage. But one day she found a several cans of soup, which were brand-name. Their use-by-date is no problem. She picked them from the garbage bag and served them as a menu of supper. They were very good. After finishing meal, she said it’s a things found on the road. Hearing this, her husband got angry at her behavior. But she replied that she couldn’t help feeling that throwing away such food is too wasteful. What do you think about her behavior? I love her personality and her behavior. Love, my friends. Bye!
