Hi, ladies!!
It is very fantastic for us to use this Blog in writing English like Cosmos. By writing it in the way Plum teaches us, my skill must become more improving one. In fact, at the beginning of essay writing, it was desperately hard work for me, because it seemed almost impossible to see the difference between formal English and informal English at that time. That situation often made me feel depressed.
It may be necessary for me to read and learn more good examples in writing English, especially formal English. Thank you.
Sunflower, thank you for your curiosity about the book I read. The title is Affinity written by Sarah Waters in 1999. The writer makes some mystery novels with a touch of the Victorian era.
So, see you tomorrow. Bye!

Hi, ladies!!!
It is always so delightful to read your messages. All of you have brilliant lives and are having fabulous experiences. I am very happy about it.
My life is not so bad now, though I have to go and see my hand surgeon regularly, who is not so kind or gentle as I hope he should be. My daughter and her family came back to Nagoya for some business to attend a few days ago and would stay with us until early August. Yujin is so cute and lovable, full of life and unbelievably strong & active. He is walking along holding anything he could hold all the time and picks up things that come into sight, one by one, making a big smile on his face triumphantly, and throws away things, again, one by one. He is doing the same thing all day long again, again, and again!!! So tiring, isn’t it? That’s what a baby is all about, I believe. He is almost one year old.
My daughter is expecting another boy in November. I am thinking of the name “Kenjin” for the second boy. Do you remember “Kenge and carboys” in Bleak House? The Chinese characters that imply “wise” and “person” would be nice.
My hand surgeon and I have been discussing an operation for my thumb arthritis for the last several weeks. Operation is, of course, the last resort, and we have been trying out pain relief injections that might give me a possibility to avoid the operation.
We are thinking it might be better to have an operation in winter, since I have to wear a cast up to the elbow for about two months. I have no idea whether I could type on a computer while recovering from the operation. If not, I will have to use my left hand for net surfing, which is terribly inconvenient and even threatening, since I am a right-hander.
I have not decided yet, and so please do not worry about me. I think I can cope with my thumb arthritis for the time being. By the way, thumb arthritis patients are not seen in Asian countries as often as in Western countries. It means thumb arthritis surgery is much more advanced in Western countries. Thus, I rarely find good information about this disease on the net in Japanese, which is shocking to me. Fortunately I could gather some information from the net in English, which makes me feel so blessed. Knowledge is power, isn’t it? With some knowledge I could make myself prepare for an operation both psychologically and physically, if I have to go through that agony.
Well, Yujin is coming back soon, and so Iwill get ready for dinner for this tiny boy guest at my house. Bye-bye to you all, my lovely friends. I will talk to you tomorrow.
Hello, everybody!
Plum, you have had the happiest time with your daughter, and grandson, who is now surely a central figure of your family. I can imagine how lovely and cute he is, but I can also imagine how hard keeping an eye on an active infant moving around all the time is. Please take care of yourself, too, Plum. I hope that you take time for relaxing yourself even in these busy days. I really appreciate all you have done for us in spite of such a tough busiest situation.
Hi, everyone
Plum, you seem very happy. You can't stop laughing, chuckling and smiling. You forget time flying. Please enjoy reunion with your family.
By the way, do you know an infiltrator, code name Gecko.
Around noon, it was witnessed on the tatamimat room by me. It was pursuited, but it narrowly escaped by hiding behind the bookshelf. At night it appeared in the bath room. As you know, it has suckers on the back of feet. It is Ninjya Gecko. On the tatami mats, it ran awkwardly but on the wall it was different, it can run fast.
I hope it can escape to outside safely. Raccoon dog and Gecko?
What is my house?
Hello, Cherry and my friends.
It's Tuesday. It is going to be very hot.
Chreey, thank you for the title of the book. I hope I’d try reading it, expecting it would bring a relaxation in my daily life.
Plum, It’s so lovely to read your lively word pictures of how one-year-old Yujin is doing at granny’s every day.
I feel sorry to hear your constant pains in the thumb. But it’s nice for you to get enough information about the thumb arthritis. If you were well-informed about the operation, it surely could help you relieve unnecessary worries and anxieties from you. I definitely agree with you the idea that knowledge is power.
My DH was diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm(Triple-AAA)several years ago. He is going to have an operation this coming fall. The best treatment is to stop smoking but he seems to pay less attention to it.
There are two choices: ont is an open operation and the other is not open one. As Plum does resarch into the thumb arthritis, we should have more knowledge about triple-AAA.
See you tomorrow, my powerful friends.
I'd like to correct my mistake.
I definitely agree with the idea that knowledge is power.
Thanks.
Hi, everyone
Today, I went to see Les Ballet, Trockadero de Monte Carlo. The Swan Lake was performed by all men.
It's very beautiful but it is a comedy. I enjoyed very much. Sometimes I took them for women. Among them is a person of color. I did not doubt he is her even after the curtain was closed. I suppose there are a practice and excises beyond our imagination. I want to see it again next year.
