Spring sunshine

Hi, everyone!

Alice, I’ve remembered the presence of the sign of Nikken farm, because that farm was a big one. But I can’t recollect the detail of it. Did your father or mother paint it? Along the road to Irago, there were several melon and strawberry farms. I’d like to visit the farm of ‘all-you-can-eat’ melon next time!

It has been nice and warm today, hasn’t it? I felt so comfortable in the spring sunshine.
Plum, I hope you are getting well. I’m going to see you tomorrow morning, and I’m afraid my essay would tire you.

The other day, I got the book Meiji jidaikan on the advice of Plum. It has a lot of photographs and graphics about the Meiji period, which tells me the structure of Japan.
Fukuzawa Yukichi also appears on it. I should watch it to learn more about the era.

So, see you later. Good night.

Dear Cherry,

Oh, you remember Nikken farm. Then it means the sign is effective.

Painting is my father's job. He used to paint signboards, but he hardly does it these days. He rather uses computers for any types of signs. For example, if we're asked to make a signboard with complicated design or patterns like the one for Nikken san, we don't use paint any more. We first simulate patterns on computer, then print the best pattern on a huge sheet of sticker, and stick it to the same size sheet iron nailed to a wooden frame. Because of this process, my father, my sister, and I are 'stuck' to the computer every day.

Hello, Cherry and my dear friends.

It’s March 12. It’s getting warmer and warmer. It seemed we didn't need winter coats any more for these two days. But pollen level of cedar and cypress tress is getting higher due to warm weather.
Peach, it’s a good news for you suffering pollen allergies. The NHK news said that using a piece of gauze within a face mask will reduce the rate of pollen exposure. Just a little extra effort like folding gauze is highly effective because pollen sticks to the gauze.
By the way I was not familiar with the pronunciation of “gauze” until I pose this comment.

Have a good day, my dear friends.

Hello friends.
I made a mistake.
Maybe folded gauze is right.

Hello, again.

I'd like to say that "until I post this comment".
Sorry for making a series of errors.

Dear Cherry and friends
What a warm day today! The spring equinox holiday is coming next week. It is often said that heat and coldness would end until around the equinoctial week. I must go to the temple and to the grave of family to pray for ancestors as an annual ritual of Buddhism next week. I am always surprised to see the crowds visiting the graveyard in Peace Park, where many graves used to be allocated collectively by Nagoya local government as one of urban planning after World War Ⅱ. Anyway visiting graves is a die-hard custom for Japanese, regardless of they are believers of Buddhism or not.
Now I wrap it up tonight. Good night everybody.

Dear Cherry and friends,

It is Wednesday, March 12. It was very warm with less wind. Sunflower, thank you very much for your letting me know a remedy. Yes, the simplest way to reduce the symptom of pollinosis is to physically escape from the pollen. I’ll put gauze inside the mask. Today I’m going to put information on souvenir which I hear foreign people like to buy. Do you know what it is? Color is white. It has variety of sizes. We can get it at 100 yen shop. I’m sure almost all of you have a few of them. I didn’t know it has such a high quality. Guess what! I’ll put an answer tomorrow. Sorry. Good night, my dearest friends. Plum, can I call on you at 2:30 as I promised? I’m afraid you have a hard time.
