'Asia stories'

Hi, everyone!

From time this week: The 10 biggest Asia stories
#1 Pakistan in crisis
‘The country reels from the imposition of emergency rule, a beleaguered presidency, a spate of suicide bombings and an escalating Islamic insurgency.’

The day before yesterday, this story changed crueler one. The ex-president Bhutto was assassinated by a person of Islamic. It’s really sad, but I can’t feel so much reality in my life because of my ignorance about it. In the first place, the concept of ‘Asia’ has not appealed to me for a long time, for there are too large differences between Japan and other Asian countries. I feel our country has something special for better or worse.

Think back to this year on TIME, we couldn’t see so many Japanese women. I only remembered Ai Miyazato. I hope more women can be actively involved in the front line of the world.

So, see you!
