Hi, everyone!
Cosmos, I am just serving my role as a mother at the minimum, so called tenuki. I sometimes feel pity for my kids, but it may foster a spirit of independence in them in the near future.
Alice, I was surprised with your energy for your research. Hokkaido in winter, it’s great!
As Plum said, I also believe your amazing power of action will produce excellent results. How about Kushiro? Could you take any delicious foods there?
I’d like to mention the best books of this year.
1) Web jidaiwo yuku (Mochio Umeda)
2) Sasaki kaorino techojutu (Kaori Sasaki)
3) Zainichi nihonjin(Masao Miyamoto)
They could greatly influence on me.
Plum, now you have tripped to Kyusyu, which might be hard for you. Please take care and enjoy your New Year holidays!
So, I’ll talk to you tomorrow. See you!

Dear Cherry and friends,
Hi! I'm back in Toyohashi. I flew from Kushiro to Haneda this afternoon and came back from Tokyo by Shinkansen.
To tell you the truth, I had some flight mileage which would be expired this year. So I chose to use it.
I didn't have a big dinner or I didn't go to famous restaurants, but among what I had this time in Hokkaido, grilled fish I ate in Otaru was the best one. It's called gindara (sablefish) no kama (a part of the fish beneath the gills). I sometimes had a very humble dinner such as natto rolls and salad with sprinkled potato chips. I know it's nutritiously poor. But I needed vegetables and it was enough when I had a late lunch. Last night I had a bowl of self udon noodle. It was like a fast food restaurant or cafeteria. That was very humble pricewise. The taste was not bad.
Hello,friends.
Welcome back,alice.
I remembered eating Kaisen-don in Otaru when I went there more than 5 years ago. I found the cheap trip to Otaru of 19800 yen for 4 days 3 nights including hotel and air fees. So I decided to go there with my daughter. Then I went to Abashiri, Mashu Lake and Otaru.
It was in spring and I felt Otaru nostalgic. I don't know why though.
I liked the mood of Otaru.
When I went to Takinogawa Gakuen, Mr. Kawao allowed me to take pictures of all materials that I wanted.
Couldn't you take any pictures?
My research trip opened some network for me. I got acquainted with many people, which was very interesting. I hope your trip would result in such a chance.
Plum, please take care of yourself. I hope you can enjoy hot springs in Oita and take a rest more than enough.
Dear Magnolia
Thank you for sharing your experience. Today I sent the time line to the preacher of Otaru CMS.
And I promised him to send more information after writing about Miss Payne in Japanese. I mostly translate this year's essay.
While I rewrite it in Japanese, I found grammatrical mistakes. I have to apologize people who already read it. I'll revise it.
Hi, everyone
Alice, you went to Kushiro and Otaru. It's far. Did you go from Otaru to Kushiro by train or by bus? How long does it take?
I have never been to Kushiro.
I have been in Shibetsu near Asahikawa for 5 months. I don't know the Hokkaido's winter well.
Have you driven a rental car there in winter?
Visiting the spot is a good way to learn. I have to follow your way.
Could you see the offsprings of Ainu people who were taught by Miss Payne?
I reconfirmed today that I can't read Chinese characters. I mistook
'sougou'for 'rengo'.
what makes me notice was the book written by Vera Mackie. What nationality is mine?
Recently, I must look up a dictionary of Chinise characters.
It is like a world of hieroglyphic or ancient language. I can't momorize the character at a glance.
I am not familiar with old Chinese characters. Moreover, I forget the name of radical. I can't tell where is the radical part of the character. I must go to the elementary school.
Dear Cherry and friends,
Plum, I hope a cold will leave you.
Please take care. Alice, your comment from Otaru is a nice present for me.
Cherry, thank you for telling us the best three movies and books. Did you see Babel ? The movie is awarded, but I am woriied if I feel bad because of the camera work.
Next year, I'd like to name my best threes. This year I haven't read or watched enough.
Good night !
