Today is the last day of the year. Compared with when I was a child, I can't feel something special now. It's a day that I need to reconcider of my own year. I really feel happy thinking back over this year's many unprecedented events.

I cannot express my thanks to you all enough. When I look back the year 2007, it was full of excitement and thrills, which I really agree with Cherry. It was long before I come to know Plum. Plum’s advice is really precious, practical and what is more, profound. To be involved in a new group and trying something new felt very comfortable thanks to Plum and all of you. In ST, Ms Ishiguro, a ‘free-lance writer introduced us a proverb. She says one doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore. This is a pretty intimidating thing to do. At first it may feel uncomfortable. Sometimes you may wish you had Captain Jack Sparrow’s special compass. It is good to keep this quote in mind.
Last midnight I visited Kosyoji-temple in Yagoto with my daughter. With a group of ten we hit the bell. There was a drunken man talking in a loud voice. No one pay attention to him. He must be very lonely. Happy New Year to all.
