To see Santa Claus

Hi, everyone!

When I read magnolia’s comment today, I wondered why Japanese religious base is mother-oriented. I have once heard that Buddhism teaches ‘nyonin jobutu,’ which tells us that women can’t attain Buddhahood unless they are born again as men. Some temples used to be clothed to women. Is there any difference between a woman and a mother…? The point of view on religion is complicated for us, but very interesting. Sunflower, I think your subject will surely stimulate our frame of reference.

My kids were excited yesterday, because they expected to see Santa Claus in a couple of days. Older daughter said to me, ‘I am going to set a trap for him so that I can see him!’
I frustrated her and put presents for them on their bedsides last night. This morning they were surprised with it and disappointed at their failure. ‘We didn’t hear he came last night!’ They sighed. I couldn’t help laughing behind them.

So, I wish you a Merry Xmas! Bye!

Dear Cherry and friends,

I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch through the blog. Cherry, how sweet your daughters are. Yesterday my DT (daughter) murmured, "when did I stop believing in Santa?” I was a little shocked.
I really want to give or should have been giving dreams to children.

Plum, I do welcome your correction. Your explanation on indicative mood (kateihou) is easy to understand. I feel as if you are standing by us. I have had OKITEKARA-NERUMADE CD book by アルク.., but I did not finished it. Mine is Marugotorensyu-cho. It is a different one but might be similar. I'm glad you are always giving me various valuable hints on English study. Anyway I should check both.

Cosmos, you have such nice friends sharing wonderful time in the annual concert. It reminds me those (?) of my old friends. Tokiko is so energetic like you. She also dances the flamenco, doesn't she? Her daughter married to a comedian. It is hard to imagine. I cannot imagine that average Japanese people leave 30,000,000 yen before they die, either. I guess it includes real estate. Without it, the amount is too large to attain.

Azalea, for the coming inflation age, what is the best way to survive? What if however hard we work, the living cost soars! In fact working poor is a well-known words these days. Growing vegetables and studying more for the future might be one of the best ways. Everyone if you get any wise ways please let me know.

Cherry, thank you for introducing us an interesting book. Internet also has potential solutions for Inflation, I think vaguely. I love Saigo-no-iiwake by Tokunaga Hideaki. Did you watch TV program?
I happen to watch it. By the program I know he covers a lot of welknown good songs. He presented us so good lovable songs. But what impressed me the most is his saying that “after I covered many songs, I noticed the value of the original songs." As Plum says that what is original is the most valuable. I can feel his words as a voice from the Heaven.

Alice and Asahisan, I'm very happy to know you engaging in Feminism study. It is my honest feeling.

Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful day !

Hi everyone!!!
How are you doing?

On Saturday I think I caught a cold, and when I woke up I thought it was Monday, but it is Tuesday today. I was horrified. I juts skip one day due to my cold.

I got some 19th century England time lines, and so I am going to make my own time line. Probably, I will make different time lines according to the subject, like education, feminism activities, welfare, etc.

I just cannot wait. I would like to read more and more books. I NEED TIME.

Goodnight, my precious friends.

Hello!!!
How are you doing?

The following is from Cherry’s message.
Cherry uses the past tense, but when we talk about the story of a book, we normally use the present tense:

His statements are(were) very positive, optimistic, and realistic. For example, he quotes(quoted) the (a) proverb, ‘in the right place at the right time,’ and says(said) he learned this expression(word) at Silicon Valley. In addition to this, he mentions(mentioned) that ‘only the paranoid survive.’

Hi, everyone.

Cherry, how cute your daughters are!! You live in the most precious time in your life.

Peach, you are right, in the next future, I think it will be farmer's era. I can't secure it as business but as a survival strategy. Not only China but other countries will import food becasue of climate change. The key word is aqua. It means the shortage of water. Many areas will not be able to continue to raise plants. Will the countries import water?
I don't think so. They will import food instead of water. It is efficient and econimical.

It is clear that good's value will soar.
